What is a 3D Model?
A measurable, explorable 3D representation of a site or structure, built from overlapping drone photos. Unlike a flat map, it has depth — you can view it from any angle and take real measurements of distance, area and volume within it.
How It’s Made
Data capture — the drone flies the site, capturing overlapping images from multiple angles.
Processing — photogrammetry software finds common points across the images and stitches them into a textured 3D model.
Refinement — the model is cleaned up: surfaces smoothed, noise removed, accuracy checked.
Export — delivered in formats that work with CAD, GIS or BIM software, ready to use.
Used for :
Construction progress and as-built checks, property visualisation, land and terrain assessment, and volume/distance measurement.
